PR Advertising Assistant
About the Job
My client, based close to Dublin South West are actively seeking applicants for the position of PR Assistant. This is an eleven month contract initially but would have a view to permanency although not guaranteed.
Essential Experience and Skill Sets
- A proven track record PR industry experience required
- Knowledge and interest in advertising that extends beyond the scope of their role
- Commercially minded and conscious of the impact that their work has on the wider business
- In house FMCG PR background preferred
- At least 4 years' experience with press releases, product drops, product/range launches, planning PR calendars, elongated PR campaigns
- Proven track record/examples in personally delivering effective small, medium and large PR campaigns Working closely with external agencies and spearheading exciting and effective campaigns.
- Using consumer insights to guide the marketing campaigns and inspire high level of creative.
- Working closely with the rest of the marketing team and other company departments to ensure a coordinated approach to marketing campaigns.
- Conceiving and coordinating marketing campaigns alongside consumer partners.
- Experience in a busy, deadline driven environment
- Prior experience working with 3rd party agencies
- Prior experience of working in a team environment
- Polite and professional manner
- Examples of a systematic work ethic
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication and administration skills
- Proficient IT skills
- Full drivers licence
Desirable Qualifications
- Marketing qualification preferred
