Public Relations Account Executive
Split between the global media capital of the world and one of the fastest growing fintech hubs in Europe, Wachsman PR services some of the most disruptive and influential forces in fintech. Founded in December 2015, the agency has become leaders in generating media exposure and brand recognition for companies in the blockchain, cryptocurrency, equity crowdfunding, alternative asset, and real estate investment industries. With clients around the globe and teams working from New York City and Dublin, Wachsman PR is now seeking to hire an experienced and ambitious Account Executive for the Dublin office.
Wachsman PR provides first class global public relations support and advice to innovative businesses in the financial technology sector. Representing over twenty five clients worldwide, Wachsman PR executes targeted traditional media relations campaigns attracting the attention of global top-tier press.
The Account Executive will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day account execution, reporting to the Account Director. They will assist in the planning, organizing and executing of PR plans while developing relationships with US and European reporters. Possible travel may be required.
The successful applicant will have:
- At least 2 years experience in a public relations agency or in-house.
- Exceptional work ethic and motivated to excel in a fast paced environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication with a strong interest in finance and technology.
- Track record of securing media coverage and experience in developing relationships with reporters.
- Ability to think strategically when developing PR campaigns.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
