Journalist
The successful candidate will produce engaging content for a yet-to-be-launched blog and its social channels from Lovin Media Group.
The Lovin Group office is a fast-paced, dynamic and demanding environment so they're looking for someone who will thrive on the pressure and grasp every opportunity.
Our new hire will report to the Deputy Editor and work closely with our editorial, social and commercial teams, as well as ClickOffices, to help shape and support our blog's output.
This journalist will be producing blog content for our client ClickOffices, which will revolve around office culture and water cooler topics of interest, with a tone similar to that of Lovin Dublin and Lovin.ie.
Primary responsibilities include:
- sourcing news leads and swiftly identifying relevant stories
- producing accurate, compelling copy to tight deadlines
- delivering fresh, exciting feature ideas about office culture and water cooler topics of interest — as well as defining what falls under those headings
- building the blog's audience and social channels
Who you are:
- a driven, adaptable and ambitious writer looking for a break in the industry
- a social media addict who is always looking for the 'next big thing'
- able to create basic memes
- Photoshop/video skills preferable
- ready to start immediately

The successful applicant will spend three days a week in the Lovin Media Group office on Mount Street Lower and two days a week at ClickOffices on Baggot Street Lower from 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. They will also be supplied with a company laptop.
